Dear Valued Partners and Delegates:

Based on current market conditions in Europe, the event organisers have agreed to cancel this spring’s European Retail Technology Summit, scheduled for 31 May-1 June in Berlin. We will be meeting with our key partners to determine the future course of the Summit and how it would best serve senior IT executives with Pan-European operations. In the mean time, we will continue to place focus on our larger events, and support each other in these efforts where appropriate.

We thank you for your support and patronage as we move forward.

Sincerely,

Ulrich Spaan

Impressions Summit 2010

Event Overview

European Retail Technology Summit is industry’s most influential event in the EU for retail IT executives. Co-produced by two leading retail trade organisations – Germany’s EHI Retail Institute and USA’s National Retail Federation – the Summit provides a chance to test and red efine your assessment of the pan-European retail IT landscape. Held over one-and-a-half days, the educational programme features retail practitioners and experts who will share their knowledge and real-world insights on topics that are global, relevant and forward thinking. Summit delegates will learn about the latest trends in retail technology, business process optimisation, supply chain execution, and international IT standards – across many retail formats and sectors.

Why Participate

European Retail Technology Summit 2010 features only the best, most innovative companies gathered in an intimate setting for optimal networking, idea exchange, and real solutions to today’s most pressing issues. The Summit consistently draws high-level participants from multiple retail sectors who come together to share and hear experiences on key issues facing the global retail industry.

Come participate with a select group of retail IT executives and experts as we explore key strategies to winning the hearts and minds of consumers. By joining this one-and-a-halfday programme, you will discover technological solutions to help influence consumer attitudes and behaviours, and share best practices in empowering the IT organisation to deliver true value to the business.

In addition, the Summit provides retail IT executives an ideal platform for exchanging ideas, experiences and views in an intimate setting ideal for peer networking.
